Ceramic Golden Honey Bee Earrings

I used ceramic clay to make these honey bee earrings. The earrings are finished with rustic glazes. This piece of art is fired three times, during the last firing in the klin the bee was lightly covered with liquid real gold. Handmade, glazed and fired in my home studio.

All ceramic jewels are hand painted, carved, and one-of-a-kind. Due to the handmade nature they all vary a tiny bit in size, pattern or tone.
